Those who present themselves as "holier than thou" are being hypocitical & going against the teachings of Jesus, as Jesus taught the most important thing is to love one another...He [Jesus] was found far more often talking to the thieves and whores and those rejected by society than He was to the "Look at me, I am good" folks. It was this type of person that He had contempt for too. If we have flesh ...and all humans do, then we are a sinner, I am, you are, the pope is, etc. I think it is those who pretend otherwise that gives Christaians a bad name. As for an answer to your question:
I suppose that some are and some are not...the important thing is that they are all saved.

I wouldn't say all Christians were knob heads but there a serious number of dodgy part timers out there..... the ones who only set foot in church for other people's funerals, weddings or christenings. The ones who commit the deadly sins on a regular basis but a quick to judge and verbally/physically attack anyone who is different - like the ones who are on a big Muslim bashing mission at the moment......
