so i am thinking about getting a water pick after a recommendation from someone, and i have 2 questions.

a. does it really help with cleaning braces and teeth? and

b. i found this one at target: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=bxgy_cc_img_a_1042020/602-0748784-5419853?asin=B0007ZAFV2
and i want to know if it runs on batteries, or if it plugs in

also, does anyone have this one? if so, does it work well?

A water pic is great for anyone with or without braces. My dentist recommends them to his clients. The link you have provided does not have good reviews. It says that it comes with a rechargeable battery that often doesnt recharge, or doesnt work often. You would be better off getting one that will cost a bit more, but is still in your price range. I wouldnt suggest the one you provided a link for since it has soo many ratings that only have 1 star provided (which is a poor rating).

I think Water Piks can be a great tool. But remember that Water Piks are nothing more than a tool.. it has to be used properly and often to really help out.

I also have a lot of good success with the Shower Floss, which is less expensive, less messy, and easier to remember to use since it is hooked up to your shower.
