They don't currently have an exact equivalent. The Crown Prosecution Service is tasked with prosecuting criminal cases in England and Wales. Here is their link: http://www.cps.gov.uk/

There is no such thing as a British equivalent as all parts of the UK have a different legal system. In addition to the previous answer, the Scottish equivalent would be the Procurator Fiscal.
