Is that what God did?
Is our religion causing us to act worse than animals?

Atlas-- Yes people often get carried away, isn't that we place restraints on their use of drugs, alcohol, and certain types of pornography?
Do we need to also keep them away from religious books?

I have one really stupid dog and one really smart dog. The smart dog gets angry and bites the stupid dog all the time because it's acting stupid.

But even the smart one isn't wise. Religion doesn't cause people to act worse than animals. People do that. Just like guns don't kill people, people kill people.

I saw an eel do that once, and believe me I was not amused. It just kept doing it for no apparent reason, to a creature not half its size. The victim was a short fish. There was no reason. The short fish was just minding its own business.
Yeah, so what's yer point?
