Im going to dye my hair.
I am using Wella Color Charm dye,311T, Dark brown. I am also using L'Oreal 20 vol. developer.
On the box it says ratio one part Color Charm and two parts Developer. How do I know how much to use?
Im using the whole tube of dye..Any hints?

You should mix it in a bottle with measurement marks on the side. Squeeze/pour all the dye in first and measure how high it is in the bottle. Multiply that amount by 2 and that's how much developer you should mix in. If it's 3oz of dye, use 6oz. of developer etc.. I've used a ruler or my fingers to measure when I haven't had anything else. Like, 1 inch of dye needs 2 equal inches of developer.

you can take these to any hair salon and ask them to do it for you, tell them that you already have the color you want.
