In Canada our head of government is called The Prime Minister
Our present Prime Minister is Stephen Harper of the Conservative Party of Canada
He was sworn in February 6th, 2006
Our Prime Ministers have a term of 4 years and may or may not be re-elected at that time
Prime Minister Harper was born in Toronto, Ontario on April the 30th, 1959. His wife Laureen and two children maintain a permanent residence in Calgary.
Our Prime Ministers usually reside at 24 Sussex Drive in Ottawa
and have done so since 1951.
The 34 room limestone house was built by a member of parliament for his wife, Hannah, in 1866. Mr.Joesph M. Currier called it
Gorffusfe...Welsh for place of rest.
It is located on the edge of the Ottawa River and unlike the White House it is used mainly for a residence. Our Prime Minister work out a building walking distance to Parliament Hill
I hope this answers your question....

We do not have a President, we have a Prime Minister, his name is Stephen Harper. He lives at 24 Sussex Drive, Ottawa. The house is made of stone and is not white. Last time we were really up close and personal with the whitehouse...we burned it down!!!!!

We keep more of our British historic roots, but we aren't British nor American.
Like the British we have a Prime Minister. Stephen Harper is the current PM, elected this year.
The British PM lives at 10 Downing Street. Our PM lives at 24 Sussex Drive. (Kind of similar isn't it?)
When we burned the Whitehorse in the war of 1812, I don't think it was called the Whitehouse yet. It was pink, and they whitewashed it in the rebuilding.

Our Prime Minister is Stephen Harper who is the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada. This is a right wing government and also a minority government (they have the most number of seats that allow them to form the government; however, they are outnumbered by the rest of the House of Commons).
He does not govern alone. He has a Cabinet of appointed ministers who are in charge of individual portfolios that govern different areas of Canada and Canadians. These cabinet ministers are elected officials and do not receive a cabinet post until after the election.

Uh, Canada has a Prime Minister, not a President. And I am appalled that you didn't learn that in school. As stated before, their PM's name is Stephen Harper.
