NOOOO! The pH is different and the medication in it will likely kill your kitten. Only use kitten shampoo. Human shampoo is not safe for any animal but a human.

NO NO
Go to the pet shop get some shampoo that is made for them, or get some baby stuff. If this is there first bath do it with nothing. Get them used to the water. Then use shampoo. I would start my kittens off in the sink, when they grow up in the tub.
Mind you I had a kitten that would jump in the bathtub with me lol!
Cats clean themselves but it is a GREAT thin to do is to give them baths. Specially if someone is allergic to cats...like all critters it gets to feeling good...

I think not, well because i think head and shoulders is not for animals ,human shampoo is wayy diffedrent! and you cat cat CAN be allergic to that shampoo and it could get a rash, skin infection, etc.! so i recomend you to use shampoo for cats!!!!Plus its a kitten, a baby cat ,you wouldnt want to get it sick, would you?oh and that anti dandruff thing that the shampoo has,it can really damage your kittens eye, skin, etc. and if you use that on your kittern ,after the bath .your cat is not going to look good!

It won't hurt him, but I do not recommend it. I work in vet.s office and people ask about shampoos all the time. The best thing to use is a natural oatmeal based shampoo. They are made especially for an animals fur and skin and are gentle. Human shampoos can dry out the natural oils in a cats fur they need, and also make their skin itchy. Let me add- most manufactures of shampoos and other toiletries like Proctor and Gamble, Johnson and Johnson and many many others, do horrific scientific animal testing. If you knew how many animals had to die for you to get that bottle of shampoo, you would think twice about using it at all.

There is probally horrible side affects that you don't even want to risk.I am sure you shampoo and stuff that is safe on animals at a pet store like pet co or online. Besides why do you want to clean your kitten anyway? Don't cats clean themselves enough?

No. You should not use ANY kind of human shampoo on any kind of animal. The pH for humans is WAY different than animals. You could give your kitten a rash or give it bad skin allergies. Get your shampoo from a vet or something.

no, I can't remember what is in the shampoo but i do remember that it is unsafe to use on pets. If you go to your vets office there should be a safe shampoo for dry/itchy skin. You should be able to stop by or call and not have to bring your cat in.

No. Shampoos made for humans -- especially ones with anti-dandruff medication in them -- are dangerous to use on cats.

You should use shampoos made specifically for cats.

If you must bathe your cat with an over-the-counter human-grade product use diluted Dawn dishwashing liquid. Make sure the cat doesn't ingest of any of the product or the water.
