I keep hearing for all you all that there is absolute truth. So who has it?

There are significant differences between the various denominations and sects of Christianity. They can’t all be right if there is absolute truth.

So it is time to put up or shut up.

Which *ONE* denomination contains 100% of your gods truth? That way we all can know that the others are going to hell and can stay way from them.

Thanks for your help.

Episcopal

They control everything. God favors them.

ADD: WTF 3 down grades? I'm serious. 1/4 of all presidents are Episcopal. They are the masters of this country--because God favors them.

Christianity is ONE faith. It's the same, ONE truth.

A denomination is just a group of people saying their focus is a little more on one aspect of doctrine more than another. Does'nt mean they deny any part of it.

Generally, speaking a culture or a climate needed to have a certain emphasis from doctrine to deal with issues at that time (certain times of history have their own man-made ideologies that needed addressing).

Doctrinally there is little to distinguish between one denomination and another. How they see God and Jesus and the strength of their relationship with them, as well as how much they love each other, is the true test of how clearly they see the truth and are walking in it.

Having been to more than one membership course (different denominations), if anything, each church seeks to find itself more obviously and clearly aligned with the truth, than declaring itself as distinct from it in any way.

Far as can be ascertained, ALL denominations (and even most sects) keep to the core belief that saves them - that Jesus went to hell in [our/their] stead.

Jesus said He was the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that no one can come to the Father except by Him. All truly Christian denominations believe that Jesus is the only way to be saved. All of the differences you mention are on minor issues, not salvation issues.

Jesus instituted the Church, no longer church homes. "it particularly is to Peter that he says: 'you're Peter, and upon this rock i will construct my Church' [Matt. sixteen:18]. the place Peter is, there is the Church. And the place the Church, no demise is there, yet existence eternal" (On Twelve Psalms 40:30 [A.D. 394]). st. Ambrose Is it charitable to assert that people who've separated themselves from the Church are no extra in communion with what the Church teaches and provides? previous Church Councils have declared this. they have not any valid clergymen, deacons, or bishops, no valid eucharist, etc...Many gatherings are no diverse than at stay overall performance arenas. this is real christianity? in the event that they do no longer partake in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and consume the Euchatist, have they have been given existence in them? (Jn 6:fifty 3) If this is the Protestant church is the real church and there can only be one, then the 1st 1500 years of the Catholic church have been only a sham, that incorporates the enterprise of the Church by employing Jesus Christ himself.

The Truth is not something it is SOMEBODY, --- Jesus, The Christ. Anyone who believes in him and believes that he has died for our sins and rose again on the third day and repents and is baptised will be saved no matter what denomination. There are different amounts of grace for each religion though, and the Catholic Faith has the fullness of it.

When Christians get to heaven, the last question that Jesus is going to ask them is "What denomination of Christian church are you part of?"
If you are looking for a true Christian church, you should look for a church that teaches the Bible - nothing less and nothing more. Jesus wants us to follow him, so we should pay attention to His teachings and what he taught to his apostles.
The Baptists are among the top Bible scholars in the world. This is not to say that they are the only true denomination, but your chances of getting sound Bible teaching are very good.

1. Salvation is in Jesus Christ; not a denomination.
2. Many 'denominations' in the USA currently have not fully passed the tests given them, even though they are called Christian.
3. To date, I personally have not been in every USA denomination; but what I perceive at this moment is that the 'Mormon' denomination seems to be close to the word of God.

The best one for you is the one you find Jesus in. Jesus told us that in His Father's house there are many rooms. There is room for all denominations. I find the one I am in the best for me. I believe my denomination is the true one and I would love to share it with everyone. I can trace it's history back to Jesus. But Religion is only a path. I must walk the path to find Jesus. Religion is more that rules and creeds. It is a relationship with Jesus. If my denomination did not foster this, I would find another.

thats like asking which car is the best car on earth. good news, you don't have to be of the same denomination to be just as good as the other. There are good and there are bad.

Its like ice cream silly, you have vanilla, chocolate, white turtle, all are different and all are ice cream. I like ice cream, some flavors more than others, some I don't like at all like maple walnut, that is exactly how it is. if every cran in the box of crayloa was the same color, there would only be one cran, now thats not very colorful is it?

The one who honours God and his Word is the one who knows the truth, but if it came to denomination I don't think a bunch of splits would make the cut.

True Christianity has to do with living by faith and transcending the need for a formal religion, just as a person who is healed transcends his need for a hospital.
