When a guy says he would love you if he was single what does it mean?
i was dating a guy for a while we both were very physically attracted to one another and things broke up as i was upset about my job etc a little needy at the time...he always stares at me when we are out and the other day i apoligised to him and he said i was one of the most lovely people he had met and that initially he was intimidated by my job ( i have quite a high powered job and earn good money) he also said he thought i was gorgeous back then and still does, i said i was leaving and he kept on grabbing me and said he would love me...if he was single..When i chatted about one of my ex boyfriends he got jealous and said 'what about us?'. He has only just started to date someone else..i have always been infatuated with him and vice versa..what should i do should i ask him for a drink as friends, i think he could of beena potential one

Well, if you are cynical, then it's possible that he is saying that just to get some @as. That or he wants to cheat, which is probably the case. Either way, never believe a cheater. If he's comfortable telling another girl while he's in another relationship that he "would love" you, can you really believe him? And what kind of BS is "would love" you? You are either in love, but you are obligated to someone else, or you are not in love. There is no "would love." This is typical PUA (Pick up artist) playbook.
1) He's intimidated by your job (i.e., doesn't make you feel that he's conceited so you would be vulnerable)
2) He's "trying" to be faithful, which is a turn on for some people.
3) He "would" love you, the key word is "would." Kinda like, I "would" be the president of the United States if...........

it means he is married or has a signifacnt other and he will have u if u dont mind his cheating on that significant other
