i dont eat anymore cuz i want to get skinnier, but is that bad? .....its working!

if its truly your decision to stop eating to lose weight, more power to ya!
but here are some guidlines you need to follow in order for it to be successful:

-eat in the morning, if you don't, your body will go into starvation mode and you'll gain weight ...even if its small, like a handful of grapes, eat breakfast.

-instead of completely starving yourself, limit your caloric intake to 900 or so per day. if you completely stop, you will become bloated and what little you do eat will immediately turn to fat.



i wouldn't recommend anorexia, but its much better than bulemia, that will kill you.

i would (A) get a personal trainer, like me, it works! (B) just keep exercizing, several teen magazines have nice floor exercizes that will keep you in shape

i am so sorry to hear this. you may have trouble keeping things down because you are upset. you really need to eat otherwise you will lose strength and get bad headaches and basically starve. try and get out the house, even if it's just for an hour, and try and clear your head so that you don't have so many emotions churning in your stomach. after that, try and eat something small like soup and crackers and then after a few days work yourself up to your usual eating habits. you are just dealing with stress and it is effecting you physically. i hope you solve the problem soon so that you can be happier. good luck.

Ill tell you now i have done this u Do lose weight but ur body will eat away at ur muscels yes u become weak and dizzy i have done this i lost alot of weight i did feel weak and sleeped Alot after u want to really eat u might throw up after u got to eat small amounts otherwsie ur put it all back on how do u think anorexic people become Anorexic they dont eat thats why and eats small portions so its proven ur going to lose weight :)

I know it "works." But you are destroying your metabolism. That means that one of 2 things will happen:

1) You will resume normal eating and immediately gain more weight than you lost, ending up heavier than before... or

2) You will not resume normal eating, in which case you will become extremely sick or possibly die from anorexia. I'm not kidding and I'm not exaggerating. I'm sorry to scare you but you must not starve yourself.

I understand how important it is for a girl to look good; I'm an ex-model, and I used to do the same thing you're doing, until I finally woke up and learned:

YOU DON'T HAVE TO STARVE YOURSELF TO HAVE A GREAT BODY. There is another way to achieve your goal, the healthy way: A HEALTHY DIET and exercise.

The best diet is the Zone diet. All doctors agree that it is very healthy; its given to everyone from cancer patients to Olympic athletes! I myself became very thin on that diet, but maintained my health and was able to eat normally at the same time. I was also strength training with weights at the same time, and doing some cardio. That is the absolute best way to do it.

Starvation might be fun, kind of exciting, in the beginning; but soon it will drag you down mentally & physically, believe me. Don't let it get to that point; get yourself on the right track now.

Plus, don't try to get too too thin, emaciated. Think about it: do you think guys think its sexy for a girl to look like she's dying of cancer, for Christs sake?? The answer is no. Don't be influenced by those morons in Hollywood; they are so desperate for attention, even if its negative attention. Strive to be fit, healthy, and full of energy. That is what is really beautiful.

Here's what to eat: Choose one from each category at each meal:

protein: egg whites, low-fat cottage cheese, low-fat goat milk, protein powder

carbs: vegetables, oatmeal

fat: almonds, walnuts, avocado

If you makes these foods the staples of your diet, you will be gorgeous!! I promise!! Now GO EAT!! :)

When you stop eating or dratically cut back on food things the following things can happen

Hunger, Feeling Cold, Weakness/ Fatigue, Sleeping Problems, Constipation, Bad, dry skin, decreased libido, weakened bones, irregular menstrual cycle, acetone breath, depression, weakened teeth, intense preoccupation with food to the exclusion of other thoughts, social withdrawal among others

Eventually it can cause heart problems and organ failure

in the long run, you could die. while alive, things like...loss of hair, insomnia, aches and pains, prone to osteoporosis, loss of mentral cycle, depression, eating disorders, heart failure, dizziness, poor concentration, kidney and liver problems, constipation, bloating, indigestion problems, gastroparesis, nutritional deficiencies, low energy, and a host of other medical problems. hunnie, it's not worth it! i know it works, but it's mostly water weight and when you start eating again you'll just gain back more! trust me, don't do it! follow a simple diet plan and you can lose weight and keep it off! eat lots of fruits, veggies (no corn!), organic meats, and stay away from those grains! good luck.

You go into "starvation mode". How interesting is it that when you start eating again you'll gain all that weight faster then you lost it :] Stick to a healthy way to lose weight, or else it'll get you in the end, you watch. There are always consequences to stupid actions.

you need to eat. your body is thinking that it's starving so it's now to the point where it's eating itself in a sense. it's taking your fat that its stored and using it as its source of protein and other nutrients it needs to survive. your anorexic without knowing it. i used to be too and it's a struggle to not go back into that pattern of not eating. you could end up dying if you continue like this. i lost my period and could have fertility problems later in life like when i go to start a family. trust me you can eat and still lose weight and not starve yourself. eat small portions of foods you like. have a snack every now and then. when i began to eat again i gained weight and was back to my regular size in 6 mths. but that's because i ate junk food. eat nutritionally and you'll lose the weight. don't keep on the path your going. it's not one you want to be on when the end result is death.

It's bad alright. Of course it's working - you are not eating. This has got to be a joke. Eat healthy - don't snack and night and eat smaller portions. DON'T RUIN YOUR HEALTH - YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY.

BAD...BAD...BAD! If you dont eat you dont maintain health...who wants to be skinny and dead? Here's my advice. Drink lots of water (cut out juice, soda, alcohol) Eat a balanced diet protein, veggies, fruit, carbs (small amount), eat small portions and exercise 90 minutes per day. If you do this you will lose weight and maintain health. Try yoga...it will give you a long lean look. But please eat!

Yes, this is very bad! If you dont eat because you want to get skinny, it's called anorexic, it can cause you to die and starve to death, what you need to do to get skinny is exercise, and eat healthy foods, didn't you know that?
