Oh shut up get a life, and mind your own damn buisness... some people do have a weight problem because of metabolism, thyroid, geans, etc... the list goes on its not just because of over eating and because they are not physically active!!

You also have to realize that just because your body mass index is at or below normal doesnt mean you are healthy. A lot has to do with your genes, your activity, food quantity and the quality or quantity of exercise.
I know lots of healthy people who are overweight as well as thin ones that are sick most of the time because of eating disorders or from things lacking in their diets.
Just because you are slim, doesnt mean you are healthy and just because you are overweight doesnt mean that you are not. It has a lot to do with the masses declaring that everyone should look the same as each other.
I say bull**** to that. Tell a professional wrestler that he is not in shape and see if you dont get a fist in the pie hole or at least told to shut up and be pushed aside like a twig.

Huh? While I am not fat, I am still not naive enough to believe that diet/exercise= immediate weight loss. I live in the REAL world, where genes and metabolism do play an important factor in weight loss. My cousin eats healthy and exercises effectively every day of the week, and his weight fluctuates constantly.

In other words, you are pretty much an idiot for saying that genes and metabolism dont play any role in weight loss.

You're a moron.

There actually ARE people who cannot lose weight, no matter what they do. Admittedly, part of my problem was a lack of activity and bad food. I have remedied this. However, I know I will never be skinny because I am not built to be thin. And guess what, my build is GENETIC!

Also, I have friends who have thyroid problems. Do you know what a thyroid does? Why, it regulates your metabolism! They have to be medicated so that they aren't grossly over or underweight, depending on the person.

How about getting yourself an education before being an ***?

Its true metabolism can cause fat but you need to still be physically active in order to lose the unhealthy weight.Even if your metabolism is high and you still need to exercise if your diet is unhealthy in terms of obesity.Plainly IF YOU DONT EXERCISE YOU WONT LOSE THE WEIGHT IF YOU HAVE A LOW METABOLISM THEN WORK HARDER TO LOSE WEIGHT DONT KEEP EATING THEN BLAME YOUR METABOLISM FOR IT.

You're correct. And the homosexuals need to stop blaming their behavior on "genes," also.
