I think it was said four rivers ran in and out of eden. Could this be allegorical for something? If we consider it is what would you guess as an answer?

Something to do with the body or metaphore?

Only one river went "out of Eden": Genesis 2:10
And from there it parted and became four heads.

"And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads".

So there's two gardens to consider:
the garden east "in Eden"
the garden "out of Eden"
As there's twain(two) of everyting to sort out.

The Bible is "allegory" in both covenants": Galatains 4
It is also "mystery" as noted over 20 times in the NT.
But there's nothing hidden that isn't also made known.
It requires seek and find to "find grace" to help in time.
For much of the allegory in only spiritually discerned.

Some archaeologist found Eden. Complete with four rivers and a cliff face that could be considered a wall. I think it's somewhere around Afghanistan today.
