ask any theologian he'll tell you it's correct. Jesus was fully God saying only Jesus the human died on the cross is incorrect, it doesn't mean he lost his divine nature.

God did not spiritually die on the cross

Because Jesus is true God and true man, all of him experienced death when he died on the cross.
His divine essence, however, is eternal, and as such, never ceased to exist, even for a moment. Neither did his human soul, which is also eternal.
His divine essence, as well as his human soul did, in fact, separate completely from his human body, so all did in fact, experience human death.
The logic behind this concept is similar to the logic that proves the Blessed Virgin Mary is the Mother of God, and not just the Mother of Jesus.
The Jesus who came forth from Mary's womb was most certainly comprised of a human body and a human soul, AS WELL AS HIS own personal DIVINITY.

Because some Christians don't agree with the trinity doctrine. The Bible doesn't teach such a doctrine. Jehovah God is God Almighty and he was not impaled and did not die on a cross. Jesus, his son, who by the fact of his life force being transferred to the womb of Mary who gave birth to a human child, was human -- otherwise the sacrifice of his death would be meaningless.

People argue over the dumbest things...I can just picture in 2 thousand years two guys wearing cones on their heads and white suits arguing:
Man 1: NO, Harry Potter was not actually the one who killed Voldemort! Voldemort killed himself with the spell.

God said he doesnt die, or even get tired!!!
I know He didnt lose His divine nature by physically dying though................
but God the FATHER placed His SON, Jesus as Lord over us all......
