If you've got windows XP you can use windows movie maker which comes installed with windows. Try downloading it at microsoft.com

Microsoft Office Powerpoint is really good but i think more designed for presentations with text
I've also got Photo Explorer 8.0 and Pinnacle Studio 9.4 which are designed for slideshows of photos, I haven't actually used them yet, but just had a look and they look really good, can put music to them as well! You can also download your videos and take frames out to make pictures with. Must have a go sometime!!

You can use Powerpoint to do that - If you don't have Powerpoint you can use the Open Office equivalent
