I want to get a woman that is half traditional japanese geisha and half modern american woman. Do you know any good tattoo artists that could help me out?

i dont want it to be cartoonish... i want it as realistic as posible

There are very many that could do this in an artistic way with a lot of definition and not appearing cartoonish; you don't say where you are from, however, or if you are willing to travel, etc.

It would help if we knew where you are. I know several good tattoo artist in Florida. And none of them work at Miami Ink.

Please people if you don't have an answer don't just answer Miami Ink. You just can't walk in there and have one of those TV people tattoo you. It just doesn't work that way. What you get is a everyday tattoo artist, I've heard nothing but complaints from people who went to Miami Ink.

Your best bet is to look around locally; check portfolio's of the artists, and find one you think can do what you want. Shop your tattoo but not for price.

MY TATTOO ARTIST WOULD BE PERFECT FOR YOU!!!
i'll link his page and i'll add a link of a geisha he did. he is wonderful. i don't know where you are located but at the beginning of january he will be permanently tattooing in corpus christi texas. check out his slideshows on his myspace and the link below is the geisha on a ribcage.

There are always the lovely folks at Miami Ink. You can sign up to get on the show on their website. They're fabulous artists, and they won't make it cartoony.
