no. it is unhumane, irreasonable, and unnecessary. there are cat breeds who's ears look as if they've been cropped. other than that, there's no need to crop a cats ears, unless it is medically necessary and vet-approved.

There wouldn't be any reason to. The CFA standards would not approve of making this change in cats. There is a breed of cat - the Scottish Fold whose ears look as though they have been cropped.

There would be no reason to. It is unfair enough to do it to dogs it would be incredible uncalled for in cats especially since their ears already stand up.

I don't think so, but I understand that some vets put notches in fixed cats' ears? Mine are all fixed, and their ears don't looked altered at all, so I guess my vet doesn't do that.
