I'm going to date myself on this one, but in 1962, Dr. Pepper had an ad campaign for Hot Dr. Pepper. It was really good. Pour a couple of the 20 oz bottles into a saucepan and add a small stick of Cinnamon. Heat but not to even a simmer. Pour a cup of it and add a candy cane to the cup that you can use to stir. When you get enough of the mint flavor from the candy cane, remove it and enjoy. The carbonation will be lost, but I really liked it. You could even experiment. I liked to add a little lemon juice to mine.

From Sean Paajanen,

Chocolate goes well with tea, not just coffee.
INGREDIENTS:
6 mint tea bags
6 cups milk
6 tbs hot chocolate mix

Alpine mint hot chocolate

1 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon unsweetened baking cocoa
1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
6 cups milk
3 cups white vanilla baking chips
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
Candy cane or crushed hard peppermint candy, if desired

1. In chilled small bowl, mix whipping cream, powdered sugar, cocoa and 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
2. In 2-quart saucepan, heat milk just to simmering over medium-low heat - do not boil. Reduce heat to low. Add baking chips; stir constantly with wire whisk until melted and smooth. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract.
3. Pour hot chocolate into cups or mugs. Top each serving with whipped cream. Garnish with candy cane for stirring, or sprinkle with crushed candies.

You can get Land O'Lakes hot cocoa mix in mint flavor. Or make a regular cup of hot cocoa and let a candy cane melt in it.

Coffee (any brand you like, unflavored), with a shot (about 2 tablespoons) of mint syrup and whipped cream on top. You can also try it w/ hot chocolate, it's awesome. They also sell sugar-free mint syrup and hot chocolate, if you're watching your calories.

You could try mint tea. I know some people who like it a lot. I don't know if it is for the holidays very much though.
