I have lived with a friend for almost two years now. In the beginning, we were having or trying to have a proper relationship. Be4 I moved in with him, we were having the odd sex and I knew he was on Viagra. I thought he was going to keep on taking Viagra for me but, instead, he takes Viagra to masturbate. I have talked with him and asked why he wanted a woman under his roof and he said, only for company. He is also very particular with my paying my way through. I dont pay any rent but I have to pay for my own costs. He also wanted me to buy a property with him from the beginning, which I refused to do. He is 55 and a bachelor. Be4 anybody wonders why I am still living with him, well... it is cheaper to be here of course and comfy.

If he wants you under the roof only for company and he is fulfilling his own sexual needs then you should look at it like you are room mates and have your own life. You pay your own way so you are not using him but don't limit yourself to the way things are. If you have no intention of leaving because it is convenient and he is okay with that, you may want to network some and hopefully find someone more on the level that you are. It may not be a great idea to "bring them home" but go out, live life and be happy, he is obviously. Maybe he just wants the companionship and not an emotional connection. With masterbation, there is no "aftercare, cuddling, love" that sort of thing. At 55, he's set in his ways and he may even be a little embarrassed about using viagra. Network girl, date, have a good time and still be the companion he needs without limiting yourself.

What is the question here?
I. It suits you both to split the bills etc, and you dont have to pay any rent. So no prob there.
2. How he masturbates is up to him. But knowing what i know about men and Viagra (and masturbation) - i doubt if he needs to take a V pill to pleasure himself!
3. If you don't like it, then move out. A bachelor of 55 is not gonna change!

You can't be in a relationship for convenience and complain because he's not what you want in a partner. There is a reason he's a 55 yr old bachelor. Why cut yourself short for a cheap place to stay. Pay your own way in your own place and find true happiness with someone else.

It really is the age. If you are young(20-30)I would move out because men that age have been through crap that you dont want to be in. So, my opinion is to leave and find a better place to live your life and start a family.

of course its cheaper but your also taking advantage of him. if that's the kind of life you want to live then stay with him. If not, get yourself together and move out.

you have a choice to make, either you stay as status Que or if he can not or is not able to have sex you have to have guide line as to the friendship, or are you a renter of sorts are you able to date others, get all the answers then you can make a decision,
