Well, it's not a crime in U.S. in legal terms...it is, though, a crime against God. One day, our legislators will catch up with the truth...

It's not in most states, excepting partial birth abortions. It is a crime because people think it is immoral, ending a life.

The reason that partial birth abortions are illegal is because they occur at a time when the baby is developed enough that it can feel pain, think basic thoughts, and could survive on its own if it was delivered prematurely. Even though I am VERY pro-choice, I am against partial birth abortions for those reasons.

I'm trying to not go off on a rant about my own feelings. I hope that this helped. For more information about abortion (in a non-political way), try this website: www.sxetc.org.

Abortion is not a crime in the United States. It may be a crime in other parts of the world. Depends on the government and the religious sympathies of the people of whatever country or state to which you refer .

well for some, it's got religious connotations regarding life and acting like "gods" to terminate/abort a living thing.

It is not a crime, at least not in most civilized countries, and I hope it stays that way. It's a minor medical procedure.
