i was dating a guy for a while we both were very physically attracted to one another and things broke up as i was upset about my job etc a little needy at the time...he always stares at me when we are out and the other day i apoligised to him and he said i was one of the most lovely people he had met and that initially he was intimidated by my job ( i have quite a high powered job and earn good money) he also said he thought i was gorgeous back then and still does, i said i was leaving and he kept on grabbing me and said he would love me...if he was single..When i chatted about one of my ex boyfriends he got jealous and said 'what about us?'. He has only just started to date someone else..i have always been infatuated with him and vice versa..what should i do should i ask him for a drink as friends, i think he could of beena potential one..

I think he was the one, but he may not have known it then, but in the back of his mind, he knew and felt that he had never met a women of your caliber and physical presence. He also knew sub-consciously that meetings of this kind only come around once in a lifetime. You both had chemistry from the get-go. If you get together with him, he will probably tell you that you are the one--my gosh he referred to you and he as "us"! In the real world, you have to wonder if he is married or as he just been dating around for a while harboring feelings and expectation that no one else could get near except for you. Your mutual infatuation is sweet, but as Shakespeare said, "The sweetest honey is lonesome in it s own deliciousness. Love moderately, long love doth so." If you could love him or do, go gently into that good night.

keep working hard at your great job and give it time. if he doesn't realize that smart, hard working, attractive women don't come along too often then he's an idiot. if you ended up marrying an idiot then you'd be bored anyway given that it seems you are a driven person. look out for #1, and the #2s will be all over you.

good luck and tell me where you are hanging out, cuz I can't meet women like you who can understand my demanding job either...lol. can't even find those who can remotely understand what I do for a living.

It means he loves you, but he doesn`t want to admit it because he`s with someone else.
