I believe this is used for UK, Canada and USA and therefore on might say the predominent language is English. However I agree with you on principal as here in England there are many different languages spoken and therefore using only english eliminates them from our forum

if you want to ask questions in French just click on languages at the side of the questions and it will bring up a French site
and by the way use a capital C and a F as they are proper names
