Insignia is Best Buy's house brand, it is to Best Buy what Kirkland is to Costco. They are inexpensive, and in my experience, are generally as good as their name brand competitors. I have an Insignia TV and DVD player with surround speakers, that I all got for cheap, and its all held up very well.

Cnet seems to have differing views on one of their televisions: http://reviews.cnet.com/Insignia_NS_30HTV/4505-6481_7-31871129.html
