-----Boxer vs Submission wrestler/fighter-----

In an old book..... someone once said

"99 times out of 100, a wrestler would win"

I would always bet my money on the wrestler and in this case that would be Bas Rutten.

Rutten isnt just a wrestler.... he is a submission wrestler.... and he can strike also. Bas Rutten is a well rounded fighter while Mike Tyson is primarily a stand up puncher (Boxer).

Sure, Mike Tyson may have a chance as he can punch, but Tyson isnt an all round fighter like Rutten.

Bas Rutten would win!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a boxing match though.... I would bet on Tyson as that is his turf mainly.

In a no rules fight between the two, it would be a very close match. However, I believe that bas rutten has a little more experience in those types of situations. On the other hand, tyson has been to prison and he just might take a couple bites out of bas.

no rules= Bas Rutten. he is just as vicious as Tyson, yet he has better skill in many areas. Tyson is a brawler, so thats just hands. Bas has kicking, joint locks, sleepers, elbows, knees, fists, head butts...

they are both fit, so Bas has the upper hand. just because Tyson is a well known badass doesnt mean a thing. you obviously havent seen Bas fight if you think Tyson will walk away easily from that fight.

bas rutten in less than 30 seconds.

Why do people think just because someone can "eye poke" means that they will be able to?

after the fight went to the ground tyson would last only seconds. he has no defence and all his stand up skills would be a non issue.

Tyson's ability to bite off ears was only due to the fact that in the boxing clinch you have the ability to, while in full MMA if he tried that he would be too busy taking knees that he wouldn't have the ability to do so as his opponent wouldn't be just standing there waiting for the ref to break them up.

Tyson.......because he would bite the living crap outta Bas Rutten's califlower ears. :-P

Of course, Bas Rutten would give Tyson a straight @ss whooping. Tyson's a boxer, once Bas takes him to the ground, Tyson would have absolutely no clue what to do.

Bas rutten. Has grappling skills. Tyson, even in his prime, would need room to throw a punch.

no one can decide, in a real fight non of that mma or boxing matters. when it comes to it a fight is a fight. the winner is decided in about ten seconds after a school boy scuffle.
