I'm a 16 year old girl who's sort of has a crush on a guy two and half years younger than me. I don't know if this is too much of an age difference or what. I mean, I'm not one of those really mature 16 year olds or anything, and he's not immature for his age either. I'm not sure if he's interested although I have caught him looking at me a few times. And once when we were smiling we made eye contact. Now he's not shy really, but I am. How do I know if he likes me? And if he does, what should I do?

Girls are far more mature than boys of the same age (you sound mature), so it's probably better for a girl to date someone younger than her, than older than her- nothing worse than some guy in his late teens pressuring a girl below legal age into sex!
Maybe you could just go to the cinema or something, or bowling... see how the two of you get on as friends and take it from there. Make sure the two of you are on the same level- if he's a little too young-boyish, it might mean you'll get bored of dating him.
Crushes are fun! Don't feel any pressure to live out your crush if you're not comfortable :)

age it not an issue to me in my eyes, of course there are laws that differ with my opinion :) I am one who has always liked younger guys, not because i went looking for them but it just happend that way. (i am 22 and my fiance is 21, not to big of a diff but i am still older.) I would try talking to him, he is at that age that some guys dont know what they are feeling and what to do with that emotion. Guide him, have a normal convo with him, once you do you might get more input as to what you should do next. if you feel like it went well, ask him if he would like to hang out, maybe with some buds at first so that way things are not to akward since you and him seem a bit shy. just do what you feel is best.......good luck!

He likes you. I actually have that too, I have so many younger guys who like me that i refer to them as my fan club just because they'll agree with everything I say and laugh at all my jokes. But as long as you see eachother both as equals, that's the hardest thing to get over, because NOTHING can change your age differences and the complications that arise from it.
