Do those of you who are lumping all Christians into a group of evil people really believe the stuff you are saying? If any other group of people, religions, ethnic or otherwise, were lumped together like this with horrific things like this being said against them, people would be up in arms about it. Most of the Christian answers and questions on this forum are not agressive or targeting others. Agreed, some are, and they shouldn't do that. Can't we all play nice together?

Any question or answer that uses or imples "All X are Y" is likely to be worth disregarding. And I was carefuly to put that "likely" in there!
In an open forum, with a degree of anonymity, you are going to get the unthinking ranters of almost every hue.
Yes, I'd like a higher overall tone of debate too. But how to achieve it? An "ignore" option might help a little, so I wouldn't even have to see the most idiotic contributors more than once. Apart from that, it's a matter of judgement between "don't feed the trolls", and it being down to the reasonable folk on each side to reprove their own extreme wings.
The "other side" being rude and stupid only adds to my case. It's when those nominally on mine do it that it comes closer to being embarrassing.

Honey it is not just on Sundays it is everyday of the week because the more decent and honest opinions we give out
the more we get attacked. Which is the way satan wants it to be
because he knows he is going to loose in the end so he is working over time. An yahoo seems to be favouring the non Christian Q&A because they allow to much ( dirty ) if you know what I mean Q&A on here but the minute we Christians give an sincere and honest opinion on here it gets thrown out. It just shows the kind of world we are living in while we are waiting on
Gods return AMEN God bless you and have a Merry Christmas!

Most people don't think Christians are evil. Just Christian leaders, and Christianity itself. But most Christians aren't really followers of those two things (because Christianity itself includes stuff in the bible about the "proper way to treat a slave" and other stuff that really isn't accepted by the popular culture of this day and age)

I fully agree with A W F God, she has the correct answer, the adversary has but little time.
While attacking God's children, God in the heavens sees and knows the hearts of men and he will give each accordingly. we were warned there would be much persecution, we are in the last days, before the adversary will no longer be and those that follow him, such as many who posts blasphemous statements and words. Lets allow the peace of God to rule in our hearts, like he says in his word.

You are right, it would be a lot easier for everyone if we just laid off each other.
My only problem with Christianity is the fact that over centuries and centuries, it has been cruelly manipulated to cruelly control people. Kings and Popes (even Presidents) claimed to be given doctrined power from the Christian God and said that if you disagree with them you are anti-Christian.
I posess nothing against the religion of christianity, only those who decide to kill, hurt others and think themselves as superior to me for being Christian.

I don't think Christians are evil, just deluded.
Everyone of them believes something different. Get two Christians in a room, and they will disagree about what the bible says about this, or what god looks like, or what heaven looks like, or whatever. It is all made up in their heads.
Religion is not the answer, it's the problem. Someday, Christians, Muslims, etc, will realize this and it will be a better world.

You're correct... it's bad to lump people into groups. Whether you lump Christians as all being evil, or lump all Wiccans as Satan-worshippers, or all Muslims as terrorists... but don't feel bad.. it's not just you and it's not just Christians. Lumping just seems to happen a lot on YA but if you search enough you'll find honest answers to good questions.

You're not the first or the last to pose this question.
If it bothers you that much, simply refrain from reading answers.
Remember.. Jesus said you'd be persecuted.. (so says a lot of xians here) so go with that and be happy.
