On holiday this year we had a beautiful wine. It was a South African cabernet sauvignon shiraz and was called Ashford hills or something like that. I would love to be able to buy some but cannot find it anywhere. I'd love to get some for Christmas day.

Call your liquor store and see if their distributor has it. If so, you can buy it by the case or have the store store it for you so you can buy it by the bottle.

See if Ashford Hills has a website. The wine websites will usually tell you where you can find their wines in your area.

Check with Wine of the Month Club. If the wine exists, they will get it for you at a discount and send it to you. Their website is www.WOMC.com.

Could the wine be Rosemont Estates? They make a very good shiraz blend, and it's available everywhere.

Forget it, they can be a bit hit and miss, go for a good Penfolds (Australian) instead.
