I have 3 kids, My youngest has the stomach flu, I was upstairs getting him changed and into bed for a nap.. When I came downstairs My middle child had mixed the can of formula with a can of coffee grounds.... ahhhhh. So the punishment went and a couple hours later i found him in the bathroom, spreading vaseline all over the sink... I love my kids dearly, but I am home alone and about to go crazy. Is the day almost over :):):):)

3words for you Dinner bath and bed time! All mommy's saving grace.I understand your frustration. My kids have been abducted and replaced by little demons today. It's cold so they can't go out side and play, the baby is getting his last molar and is feeling just plain mean.my 6 year old has come down with beans in his ears syndrome and my husband is well for lack of a better word regressing in age. From 32 to about 12. But soon I know it will be time for those 3 magic words. Then it's time for three more A glass of wine a bath and bed time for mommy. Good luck to you.

lol, I feel the same way. I have 3 boys and my hubby works out of town for weeks at a time, so its just me and them. If its not one thing going on, its another! THe 7 year old can leave the toothpaste out and then go into the kitchen and break a plate..so then while Im cleaning that up, I start thinking the little one is awfully quiet, so then I go to the bathroom and he has squirted out the entire tube of toothpaste into the sink because the 7 year old had left it out! And it goes on and on and on..llol, I know how you are feeling . One catastrophe after another.

Oh don't you wait it when the day goes like that? I know how you feel.I have 4 kids ages 6,4,3,and 1 and am 29 weeks pregant.Lucky for me the 6 year old is in school all day and the 4 year old goes to school for half aday. But my husband is gone out of state for 10 days at a time so I feel like a single mother at times. When days go like that for me I just think of the good days we have.

I know how you feel jayjay. My support system lives about 250 miles away so we essentially have no one to help us with 3 kids. All I can say is " hang in there " and keep a level head. Try that bubble bath that someone suggested. I hope you're youngest has a speedy recovery. Take care and Good Luck !

Kids will be kids, being a mother means our job never ends we have to be on call 24/7 but I wouldn't give it up for all the money in the world. And yes tomorrow is another day.

Wow! Sounds like my kids. I have caught them squeezing toothpaste til the tube is empy. Dumping dishsoap a whole bottle in the sink. Mixing a whole bunch of things together, just making a mess. They think they are making experiments. Its just normal behaviour. Maybe give him playdoh or clay, or let him play with water and toys in the sink. If their not too young let them play in the bath with lots of buckets and maybe coloured water.
Sounds like your kids are very smart, maybe one day they will find a cure for something. Its very hard looking after 3 kids especially when they are sick, have a cup of tea, take a little break , sounds like you are a wonderful mom.Good luck and yes the day will pass you can do it.

I can truly sympathize!! I also have 3 children, all girls 11, 5, and 31/2 months. Some days I find myself just wanting to throw on my coat and shoes and just RUN!!! Aw, heck, I'd even head out frozen and barefoot just to get away from them. I guess the only thing I can tell ya is that it will get better, WHEN THEY ALL GROW UP AND MOVE OUT!!!! Try to grin and bear it and if all else fails call Super Nanny!! Good Luck!!

Wow! What a day...I only have one child, but sometimes it seems as though she gets on these kicks where she's just in one thing after another. You definately need some "you" time. Try a bubble bath if you can.

You're amazing! All moms of young children who keep getting through one day at a time are amazing. Hope the little one feels better soon. Your kids may not show it now, but you are their hero and some day they will tell you so. I hope you get a well deserved break -- and soon.
