I havent had a job for like 4 months and I'm backed up on credit card payments.?

What can I do? They charge me alot of late fees. I have a job now but what could have I done for them not to charge me monthy being that i had no job before. I wont be paying th credit card company for another month because I recently started this job.
What can I do now?

Nothing except start paying as soon as you can. When you et a credit card you have an agreement with the company to pay them the money you owe, the interest and late fees. Debt sucks.

When you are in a position to start making payments, call the companies and see if you can make payment arrangements. They will sometimes forego interest and late charges for regular payments. If they don't forego interest charges, they may offer a lower interest rate. Make sure you can meet your agreement. You may only have one chance to make good on your debt. Make sure you keep notes on those with whom you talk and get any agreement in writing before you start making payments. It would probably be best to begin talking with them as soon as possible. It would be be best to make arrangements before it goes to a collection agency or attorney. You may even work something out to make a one time cash payment.

A word to the wise, credit card companies are bloodsucking vampires lol. I hope they all go out of business. Look at the interest they make off of you. Try to just use one card for emergencies....if you need to have one......and make sure its the lowest APR you can find. Try to use your debit card tied to your checking account if possible.

The best thing to do for your wallet and peace of mind is to consolidate and get rid of the debt. This company helped me out of trouble. Good luck.
