I have worked in nursing homes for many many years and I can tell you yes, not from personal experience, but from what I have heard and seen (on accident of coarse, I am no sicko).
All the classes I have had in nursing that talk about this subject say that though there may be some functional problems, sex is still very much a basic need for all adults at any age and that the sex drive they had as younger folks is pretty much the way they will be when they are older. Old perverts were probably young perverts and so on. If there are problems for them, be it functional or psycological, it means that they should have it checked out by a physician to see what can be done. People in their 50s -60s should definately be able to enjoy sex.

Yep they can if they want to. You just gotta keep it alive because age can slow some responses down making it more work (or more play depending on how you look at it). Also some people seem to just get bored and give it up - but after watching some old fart glued to the TV day after day that may not be such a bad idea.
