You can use it for a smoothie. That's what I do with fruit I find in the freezer.
Otherwise, if you try to cook with them or eat them thawed, they will be flavorless.

My mum cooked up some pasta -the egg pasta filled with meat n stuff, and it was 6 years out of sell by date, she said it was fine, (I didnt eat any, I just watched- she did this a month ago and is still live and kickin' today- and is her husband who also ate the stuff (he did so unknowingly which I think is out of order, but he never cooks for her so we'll leave that story there)!!
I dont know about freezing fruit in the first place- unless it is inside a pie or sauce, as when fruit thaws out it tends to go all mushy, but try your luck, all you have to gain is extra freezer space-
do think though that however you choose to eat it, boil t up for a few mins first, this is to get rid of some of the bacteria which may be in the fruit and to lessen the risk of any food poisoning.
And do NOT give any of it to small children as they have much weaker immune systems than adults, we can fight off many of the germs we ingest on a daily basis, children dont tend to do this as they are still growing.
but a word of advice, if you are atall unsure, make sure you leave it.

I always freeze my excess fruit from my garden, and if frozen on the day of picking or near to it, there is no reason why it shouldn't last for that long. A good tip is to turn it into jam as the sugar and water replenishes the flavour back into life. all you are doing is hibernating the fruit or anything come to that, until its needed, People who freeze themselves for future cures, don't tell people to throw them away after 2 years, do they. There wont be any bacteria in the food, unless you froze spoilt or bad food in the first place.

Yes you can, but only for fruit drinks if you put the fruit through a juicer that pulps them. One other thing - give the drinks to someone else, oh and make sure you have plenty of bog paper on hand about 15 minutes later.

Can you remember how many times the power went off in the last 2 years? Who knows haw many times it defrosted and frosted again. I wouldn't eat it if I were you. Careful how to handle it though, if you drop it, it might break a floor tile.

I wouldn't if I were you, stuff should ideally be used within 6 months. And that's the hardy fruits!

it wont kill you, it may not taste the best, especialy if it was packeged improperly, but it sure will not kill you.
i would try it, if you can handle the taste, eat it, if not put it all in a bag and hang from your neighbors door. (joking)
