No its because when you get older pieces of your liver break off and float around in your body.
Because old peoples circulation is bad those pieces eventually stop moving around.(Like when they take those 3 day naps.)
Thats when the piece of liver gets lodged under their skin and makes a spot.

"What are they?
Liver spots are medically termed 'Lentigos" and also known as age spots. They are sharply defined light brown to black flat patches of skin that appear on the face and backs of the hands looking somewhat like a large freckle. They may measure up to 1 inch in size.
What causes the spots?
The spots are brought out by exposure to the sun. The color is due to pigments within the epidermis (top skin layer) cells.
Many people have a hereditary predisposition to develop liver spots. Free radicals are unstable atoms in the body that start a domino type effect leading to damage of cellular components such as DNA. Over time this can lead to many conditions attributable to cellular damage such as skin conditions including liver spots"

Liver spots, also called old age spots, result from long-term exposure to sunlight not liver disease. They tend to increase in number with age and are more prominent in fair-skinned people. They may be called liver spots because they were once thought to be a sign of a malfunctioning liver and they are often dark red or brown, the color of liver.

they are caused by the external signs of aging. the "liver spots" are actually a type of tumour- completely benign- but a sign that the powers of regeneration of the skin are almost gone.
old age comes to us all. enjoy.
