No. It's not.
You need to develop more realistic expectations of weight loss. Otherwise you're doomed to forever having your weight go up and down as you go on and off disappointing extreme diets.

8 inches off your waist is an extremely high amount.
It's like dropping pant sizes in a matter of 20 days...
Still, I think you can definitely drop some inches off in 2.5 weeks - but unfortunately not 8 inches in a healthy way at least.
Kick up the exercise routine to maybe 6 days a week with 1 day of recovery - do cardio and strength training everyday
Make sure to eat fruits, veggies, and lean meats - no junk food, avoid fruit juices because they have a lot of sugar, avoid gravies and sauces, avoid soda
Make sure you do get your carbohydrates because they provide you the needed energy to get a good workout - just try not to eat anything 4 hours before you go to sleep
Eat small meals every 3-4 hours which I'm quite sure you've heard before, but it's important - also drink tons of water to help make yourself feel fuller and to flush out impurities
If you want to chew on something - try gum
Good luck! You can probably knock off 3-4 inches!

Heard of the Hollywood 24-Hour Miracle Diet Drink?
You can lose up to 10 pounds in 2 days. Take the drink once a week for 3 weeks and you will lose up till 30 pounds or even more if you stay on a strict diet and exercise as well.
But you will have to be really determined!
All the best! =)

6 meals a day is a myth. The body's metabolism won't change enough in that short period to actually make a difference.
The key to losing weight (and keeping it off) is to go at it slowly. Any quick radical change to your diet and your body will react negatively and you will regain any weight lost soon after.
Now, for loosing 8 inches off you waist, its a question of the type of fat. If it is mostly concentrated at the stomach, than you are in luck, this fat (visceral fat) is easy to loose. The key is to spend more calories than you consume. This type of fat burns off quickly.
If the fat is lower, like really on you hips and all around (often part of the "love handles"), you are out of luck. This fat is reserved for the production of milk after giving birth. It is hard to burn off but causes no health risk unlike visceral fat.

That is like asking if you can lose 40lb-60lb is 2 weeks, which is quite frankly, ridiculous. Be realistic, you could probably lose a maximum of 1-2 inches in two weeks. HTH : )

It depends on how much you weigh now. I guess it's possible but it will be hard. Try aiming for 3-4 inches instead. Eat healthy, exercise, and drink a lot of water. Don't go on a crash diet !!!!

possible, but safety is first, just eat healthy, do more exercise, and drink water. talk to to your doctor about the best way to go about this, maybe join a group of other people, so that if you feel frustrated, you can talk to someone. it isn't easy to lose weight by yourself. good luck! I hope everything turns out the way you want it to!:)
