A purebred German Shepard is going to be handful if you've never had a dog before. They are highly intelligent dogs that require a lot of training, socialization, and attention. And it's going to grow to be a LARGE dog.
If you feel you're up the challenge, prove it to your folks by offering to volunteer at the local pound/shelter so you can get as much training as you can in how to porperly handle and care for dogs.
Take a doggie First Aid / CPR course so you can prove to them that you can aid the dog if it becomes ill or injured.
If you're old enough, get a part-time to pay for the dog's expenses. Dogs are expensive. There are food costs, toy costs, bedding costs, clean up costs, training costs, medical care costs... Prove to your folks that you understand this, and are willing to earn the money necessary to properly care for the dog.

Do a full research on this breed. Show you're parents what you know, because each breed is different.Maybe you even change you're mind after gathering all that info. You are not only taking care of it you are teaching it how to be a good dog. Right an essay on what you know and why does this dog breed is convenient for you're family. dogs are usually abandoned the first year.

Dogs are all diffrent even those of the same breed. So you need to show your parents that you are responsible enough to handle anything. You may want to save some money and start buying things you need such as bed and a crate. You may also want to consider what would happen if you went out fo town. where it would stay stuff like that.Dogs are complicated and they need love and attention all the time. if you go to work and come home totally wiped out you may want to think about getting a dog. They need all the time and attention you have!!

Yeah, what all the others said.
Tell your parents:
Getting and caring for a dog is a lot better, and should be a lot less stressful than getting pregnant and having baby to support.

OK, first off, you will want to impress your parents with how responsible you are.
so try to earn the money for the dog you want yourself.
let them know that you are serious about taking care of the pup even after it turns into a dog.
your parents are probably worried that you are going to go off to college and leave them with a dog they didn't want.
in which case you will have to let them know what your intentions are for your dog in the future.
sit down and have a logical discussion with them about it.
ask for their input and concerns then answer their replies HONESTLY.
and that will go a long way to getting a dog

Prove to them you can look after it. Reserach and read books, etc, if they do get you one you must be the one responsible for it, and prove to to them you were right
