and to the Catholics tell me what exactly happened to the Jewish community in Rome? .... I thought so.

The Catholic Church did NOT actively assist the Nazis. They attempted active engagment, which required some actions which are only now considered assistance by haters of the Church. The Pope's decisions SAVED LIVES. Why should any apologies be due for that???

The Catholic Church was not involved in the Holocaust. They were not guilty of killing innocent people in a genocide. The Catholic Church has apologized for something, but it wasn't for assisting Nazis in killing people.
If any Christians assisted killing Jews, thery weren't true Christians. There are stories of Christians risking or losing their lives for the sake of Jews during that horrible time. Corrie ten Boom for one. She survived the concentration camp. She hid Jews in her house, and those Jews escaped the Nazis.
They may have looked the other way than admit what might be happening. Same as America did. But we didn't know. When Pearl Harbor happened, we responded. We entered the war. And Hitler was brought down.
Hitler & Stallan are the guilty ones.

The most part of assisting the nazis was shipping them to south america. I don't see others apoligizing for there wrongs lutherans made a great percent of germany those days. How come whites havn't apoligized for killing booth of my ancestorical groups?

I don't know how long it took, but an apology is/was certainly needed. No one can "force" you to do anything you don't want to do. They could kill you, but they cannot force you to act against your will.
