i go to a christian church and i have to speak in front of the entire church on this topic so i was wondering if any one could just give me a few ideas on the topic it would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Peace to me is Jesus Christ. I don't know about you but, I need His Peace all-year-round.
John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John16:33 - "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Ephesians 2:14a - For He Himself is our peace...
Isaiah 9:6 - For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Since I can not change the world and only pray for a change then peace this time of year means to me the inner peace I have personally in my life, with my family and friends.

Peace to me is being centered in your own life. Knowing who you are and why you are on this earth. Fulfilling and using the talents that God gave you to better the human condition and preserve the planet earth.
When you are okay with who you are, you are okay with everything around you. Life is then peaceful.
If you deny yourself and try to live your life for others, you are in turmoil. You are constantly searching for peace - looking outside yourself hoping that you will be able to find it. You need to look inside yourself - find out who you are, what you want out of life, how you can best contribute to the world - then go out and do it.

no more wars ever, no more stabings over ps3, and understanding and respect to people with different views.
talk about how people are making a mochary about Christ's birthby saying a jolly old fat man is what christmas is about. or talk about how Christ is being taken out of Christmas by people using the word xmas

Jesus said my peace I leave with you not as the world but my peace.Peace from God is the knowledge that Jesus is in control.
No matter what is going on in the world,Jesus will keep me in peace.
Peace is knowing my savior lives within me
