I REALLY want a cell phone but my dad wont get e one becuz he says i need one good reason.?

I need one good reason. He said that the reason cant be to tlk to friends or to go to my friends house. I have a lot of reason but they are not good enough so do u have any good reasons?

O n he said i can get a prepaid one but i need a reason.

if you are in a car accident or in a serious situation how will you get out of it or get help other than using a cell phone to call for help.

Tell him that way if he ever needs you he can get a hold of you. Parents like to usually keep tabs on their kids so he might just think about this one. ;o)
Or if you need to reach him for whatever reason you could since your not always somewhere close to a phone and may not have the change on you to call him even if you are.
Tell him if he gets you a prepaid cell phone you will do chores in order to pay him back for the prepaid cards you will need to use it. And that he can set limits to how much time you are allowed to use, wkly or monthly, etc.

Do you remember what you did when we did not have cell phones? I never seen people running to use the pay phones did you? Okay I just had to add that in something to think about.

This world is so dangerous that you need a cell phone these days. On 9/11 family members got the opportunity to speak to their love ones. We also found out what was happening on the airplane at that time. So it’s very important these days to be able to get in touch with a family member. You just never know these days what’ll happen.

You have to gave your daughter a cell phone because it important that she has one. If something happens you will be able to get in touch with your love one and vise versa. Okay a pre-paid phone is fine. Give your daughter a cell phone and put her on probation. But please think about it. Not to long because you never now what’s going to happen these day.

u have 2 options:
the hard one, but very pointable:
do it this way.. do not come home about 2,3 days, and when u come home tell him that if u had a phone he would know where you were at the certain time..
the another hard one but with less pain:
tell him what if that what i wrote in the first reason happens he wouldn't know where u are.. or if u would go somewhere with friends and u could tell him what was going on to then.. or if u r in danger, or left outside, late on the last bus at night, to call him...

One good reason:

Payphones are few and far between these days and if you were to be stuck somewhere, in distress (car broke down, your ride didn't show up, etc) you need to be able to reach him or your mom for help and/or to let them know you will be late in getting home.

Basically, it's a safety issue. So you can reach your parents easily, when you need to.

1. In case you are injured or stranded somewhere and need him or your mother to come get you

2. In case you are in a situation that could be dangerous or hurtful to you (i.e. rape)

3. To call him to tell him you love him (this should work wonders)

For emergencies!!! Say stuff like what if someone I know is having a heart attack how whould I call the ambulance. Stuff like that. It worked for me!!!!
