Iin the United states 6 trees are planted every year for every tree that is harvested. 80% of these are planted by the lumber industry. See the web page below to read facts for yourself. It is nice to see Random Precision offering actual facts. In the Christmas tree industry about 4 trees are planted for everyone cut down.

In additioni many thousand of trees are planted each Arbor Day.

City forest Departments also plant thousands of trees each year.

I used to work for International Paper, the largest paper company in the world and therefore the largest consumer of trees. They plant between 6 and 10 trees for every one they cut down.

Nobody is more interested in there being trees in the future than the people that cut them down today. It's their future business.

It's kind of like why cows aren't an endangered species.

A guy came into my literary magazine class to give us an estimated cost for our book. One of the points he made was that for every tree the companies that make paper cut down, they plant many more. It's how they stay in business. If they ran out of trees, they'd run out of paper, and they'd go out of business.

Planting trees is not the only thing , mother nature plants millions more.
