I think single dads are hot. On a whole, they are responsible, caring, fun-loving, playful, and capable of (in the future) having more kids. Nothing is cuter than a dad playing with his kids. I dont think its a turn-off whatsoever.
Yes, baby momma drama sucks. But if you find one of the responsible dads i sopke of, they may have a good relationship with their ex and are able to not force drama onto you.
Yes its a big commitment not only to the guy, but to the kid, too. In all aspects, the childs wellbeing should come first. And hey, who said this guy is a manwh*re or something? Maybe he's a widower, or his wife ran off with the cabana boy, Just cuz hes a single dad doesnt mean he's gonna knock you up and take off. Way to be a dad, dude.

It may not be a turn-off, but if the kid lives with the guy, it's actually a big commitment to start a relationship with him. A responsible girl would consider how it would affect the child if after a while things were to go bad. I, for one, am not maternal so I would have to be really in love to want to have a relationship with someone who has a kid.

For the same reasons that men get turned off when they find out a woman has a kid. They think it will take away from their privacy, that they'll come second in the relationship, that there will be another person in the relationnship because of the child (the other parent), because it might mean a financial burden. I think it's poor judgement to run from someone with a child, but that's my opinion.

Usually they don't. There have been many jokes made in movies in reference to single dad's. The dad will take his kid with him wherever he goes because more women will talk to him. Or, if the guy doesn't have a kid, he'll "borrow" one from a friend so that women will come up and say "awwww, how cute!".
Women are usually not as shallow as men are. Most will go out with a guy if he's not the best looking, somewhat overweight and/or has kids.

To tell you the truth some girls don't want to be bothered with a man and a child and it is also the other way around for guys. Some girls want to start a family with a guy who doesn't have a family already. Girls also don't want to be bothered with the baby's mama also because they can start drama and stuff.

i would say they get turned off because they automatically think the kid is yours, and then they connect u and "lovemaking" meaning that your not a virgin.they probably dont like the idea that if they went out with you, and they really liked u, alot, it would bother them that u have already "done it".
it is hard for ppl to find their perfect match and if u already have a child, there would b a risk that u might go back to the other personand she will get hurt.

good question.. cuz the rolls are revised in this one.. i know with most guys they want to run the other way when they find out you have kids.. I would say it is just not meant to be then.. you will find the right one.. and they will accept the fact you have a child.. and love your child.. until then just keep looking you will find one out there.. it just takes time.. she is there it is all a matter of finding one..
but
they want all your attention.
don't want the responsibility
they want to be the first..
Don't want to have to deal with an ex...
What made you leave the other one first...

its a double standard issue really, if a guys sleeps around, hes a stud, if a girl does it shes riduculed. some women who have kids want a man to accept her and her children. but women who have burnt by baby daddies and who have known other women to go through it get a bad taste in thier mouth for men with children because they tend to assume that hes a deserter just like the men they know.
