To tell you the real truth. I would wait until next year. If he loves you that much he can wait another year and you can really have a great wedding. It is going to be very hard to find something short notice. Trust me. You don't want to have a shitty wedding. You want your wedding to be special not shitty.

getting married is NOT about the *** wedding** & how flash it is .
it is about the committment you are making to each other.
A small intimate celebration that you are thinking of can often be much more meaningfull than having all the ""extras""" that really are not necessary & dont make you anymore married.
my daughter planned her wedding in a month - they had a beach ceremony & booked a restaurant for the reception. - this was in Sept in North Queensland Aus.2000
even if it is/has been snowing - you could possibly still have your ceremony outdoors under a shelter ; that could be quite magical & romantic.
as some others have suggested - see if you know someone with a house big enough to hold the numbers; or a community hall.
If you were to have the ceremony during the week you would probably find it easier to find a hall/restaurant.
A cocktail party/finger food "reception" can still be elegant but cost effective.
step back for a minute - take a deep breath then sit down & make a list fo the necessary things that need to be done.
** arrange celebrant - birth certificates; blood tests ; etc if required
check out venue for reception.
choose outfit
invite guests - you can make your own invitations
RELAX
It is not necessary to have attendants - but you will need witnesses to sign your papers.
you can still have a really nice outfit - there again without spendng a fortune. look at places other than bridal stores. the outfit does not have to be white either - just something that you feel comfortable wearing & is flattering on you.
for you flowers - if you choose to have them- you could buy a bunch from somewhere like walmart etc & have a friend arrange them for you - or do it yourself ( I did this for my daughter)
another option - which I have heard about- the bride asked each lady attending to bring a single bloom of their favourite flower & as she walked towards her groom they all handed them to her & her mother bound them together with a ribbon at the end- this made the guests more a part of the celebration.
if it is allowed - your man could wear full military dress uniform for the ceremony- that would save on costs for his outfit.
If you had a celebrant rather than go to the court house- then you could possibly have the ceremony at the same place as the reception
hope these suggestions help

I feel so bad for you, I know what its like to plan a wedding in a short period of time. Your best bet is inviting only family and close close friends. Get married at the court or church if you can book one and go to a restaurant afterwards. I think it would work out fine. Good luck and congrats!

The best thing to do is wait...go ahead and have a JP marry you so that it is legal. Then next year you can have a vow renewal and a reception...it will give you more time to plan and you won't be so stressed.
