how do you tell someone that they smell...like if they need to wash thier hair ...with out them being upset...i hate to ask but its true...i no this one girl and she doesnt like wash her hair normally..and i no she isnt poor...she can afford it but like i dunno..she just doesnt wash her hair..so no one wants to touch it in our cosmo/hair class at school....?

i think the best way to go is to tell her straight up
but if you are too afraid to than just tell her that you were thinking of her and bought this shampoo that you think will make her hair have that bounce or that shine or what ever...you know?
so just be honest

I have known people like that, and I have offered to give them a hair makeover...usually by complimenting something about their hair that I found to be true. For example, this one girl had really thick hair that would have looked gorgeous. Once I did the makeover, she wanted to try to keep up the look...therefore washing her hair and taking better care of herself.

Oh my gosh. I have a girl just like this at my school! She does not bathe or shampoo. So for Christmas (last year) I gave her a gift basket with lots of different soaps and shampoos and stuff and I told her that I had tried some of them (not in her present) and I had enjoyed them. She (thankfully) has been bathing ever since.

I have people in my school like that.....their hair gets really greasy and full of dandruff. Tell her about a "super cool" shampoo that makes your hair so awesome and give her a bottle of it and tell her to try it in the most possitive way you can. If she doesn't get the hint start talking about how much you shower and how greasy hair is your pet peeve.

well, when your next to that person just be like whats that smell and maybe shell get the point, but then again maybe not. I feel bad for you cause thats really gross. Good luck getting her to wash up!

just say it as nice as possible don't react like some ghetto ***** from the hood acting all bogus talkin bout [***** get a perm and stuff like that . then tell the person no offense.] just say something like , use a flat iron or put a good holding spray for about a week on an occasionally basis. just be polite.

YES thers this 1 big KID at SCHOOL that smalls so bad & every1 sprase perfume on his butt & his arm pITs!!! ITS so Nasty!!! I THINK 4 CHRISTMAS U SHALL GIVE THAT PERSON SOME SHAMPOO OR SOMETHING! JUST PUT IT IN THERE BACK PACK & TELL THEM TO USE IT IF THEY ASK!

be like "oh my gosh, whats that smell??"
i know it sounds mean but u gotta do it.
then if that doesnt work, talk to her about other people smelling bad
be like "u know that girl/guy there! he/she smells so bad, i swear, like i dont wanna be mean, but showering is a neccessity"
indirectly do it.
if she doesnt get it than well..
some people have medical odors so you dont wanna be mean!
