met this guy at a party wed night, one thing led to another and we ended up spending most of the evening together. We then went bar hoping till the early hours and he invited me back to his for more drinking. We ended up sitting on his sofa chatting and holding hands till 5am and then he asked me to stay over promising to be a total gentleman. He was, we went straight to sleep I woke up with him holding me and he kissed me for the first time in the morning. He is off on a boys holiday for 3/4 weeks on thurs, but asked for my number when I left and said he would call me when he got back.
1) Is the fact he was a gentleman indicative of him liking me or not being interested
2) Is it likely he just asked for my number to be polite
3) Is the fact he said he was going to phone on his return good indication he is thinking of pursuing this or the polite brush off
4) If he was really interested would he not call/text from hols nothing yet
any other comments?

Yes i think he is interested in persuing something with you on his return from holiday. As this holiday was presumably booked before you met then dont worry if he doesnt text or phone, after all it was a lads holiday. he might just text or phone but for now just go with the flow and enjoy the wait...i would!!!

right, most men will b the perfect gentleman when they want 2take it further, others will only want sex! the others r only after a bit of fun but it is a good sign that he likes u. he mite want to call u when he gets back. but dont sit at home waiting for the phone 2ring, get out and enjoy xmas parties!! perhaps he wants to concentrate on his hols with his mates, we all need some time away where we can 4get everything! dont worry and get urself out and about, shopping parties nights with ur mates. c what happens when he gets back, bsides if he does wanna take it further and cant stop thinking bout u he will call or text from hols just 2c that ur ok.

Hope you dont get confused with all the advice you must be getting.
