my ex and i hooked up last wed and i havent heard from him since thursday night, whats the deal? he told me that he and the former gf recent split and he reassured me twice about it...why havent i heard from him? we've known each other for 7 yrs so i dont think it was just a booty call...

He called you up because he knows what buttons to push to make you put out. You were a booty call. He may say he's done with his ex, but he isn't even done with you yet. He used you to validate his own ego and feel more powerful, attractive, and sought after. Best bet is to not get your hopes up, leave him alone and let him fend for himself. Let him use other people to deal with his feelings of inadequacy. Don't give him the time of day. Don't contact him, text him, call him, email him, and you should make yourself completely unavailable to him.
Then, you should raise your standards in men. You shouldn't put out to try to make men like you. Be a challenge. Real men will want to get to know you and will be patient. Real men don't want women they can control. Only narcissistic little boys do. Avoid men with these issues. You can do better than that.

Well, why IS he an ex then? Why did y'all break up? What you describe sure sounds like a booty call to me...and a brush off afterwards with no reply to 2 text messages...

umm hate to tell you this, but i think it WAS a booty call. He knew you might be into him cuz u guys have dated. but what he did is mean and you probably shouldnt see him anymore.
