Eating apples hurts my teeth?

After I eat an apple, my teeth and gums sort of 'throb'. Why is this?

Maybe you should try cutting the apple up first. I know when I bite into an apple it hurts my gums too, so I just cut it up first and WA LA! : )

your probably allergic. do your gums like itch ?
