I miss my family (my folks are both long gone and brother and sister live across country). I miss feeling safe and loved. I miss being a kid, I had a great childhood! But I get the chance to share kid stuff with my grandson and this is so great! I teach him boys are supposed to get their feet dirty. I taught him how to snap his fingers and how to whistle and wink one eye. That it's no big deal if you spill something - just wipe it up!! You know, all the important things.

My Brother! I'm 25 now and my brother would be turning 24 on January 3. He past away when he was 19 and I was almost 21. We are only 18 months apart, so we practically did everything together growing up. I miss him dearly and I'll never be the same without him in my life. My life has forever changed now that is no longer here. But I do know, if I could back to any part in my life, it'd be when we were children, just so I could see him again.

The part I miss the most is the lack of responsibility. I am getting out of a marriage now, where I had to play the responsible "parent" to my own husband, and be a parent to my own child. I also miss the fact that I didn't have NEAR as much stress. Even though kids and teens do have stress and they think it's the end of the world, as an adult and parent in the workforce, there is so much stress that at times it SEEMS unbearable.

Innocence. I miss not being obligated to anything other than keeping my room clean. I miss my grandparents' house. Lately, I've been missing my toys : Fisher Price movie viewer, Lite Brite, Mrs. Beasley doll. Oh yeah, I miss Romper Room.

miss being with my aunt and uncle back home. when were we all little my aunt and uncle use to take care all of us - cousins. there were 12 of us (6 boys and 6 girls) and we are always in groups between us and mess with one another. although my aunt and uncle wasn't rich to raise all of us luxury but then we were all very happy and care free together as little ones. and when it's bed time i still remembered back at their old house we will spread all the mattress at the living room and sleep together. my favorite sleeping spot was on the sofa so that my youngest cousin won't sleep on top of me! every time when my parents took me home for the weekend i will cry so much and never want to leave. it was the love bond that makes us happy although we were poor.

I miss the doting and unconditional love of a father and grandmother who thought the world revolved around me. Not because of conceit, but because there's such an amazing feeling of security knowing you're loved so much and are that special merely because you exist.
