I strongly agree with you, and strongly disagree with answers like hans laxman. Because of people like you there is still a ray of hope that India and Pak will stand united as friends and create a atmosphere of not only asian strength and unity but also religious harmony.

HI friend I agree with you. Pakistan and India are the neighbouring countries. All the neighbouring countries will have conflict between each other. That is the real fact. But we Indians and you Pakistanis do not know the correct reason for our conflict. This thing of conflict between us sated at the time of the freedom. From then till we are fitting with each other.
We are not the reason for this problems. Our ancient people had only started the conflict between each other. They do change our mind and make angry in our hearts. This things mostly happen in your country because in our country all the Hindus and Muslims and Christians are unity and they are having a brotherhood relationship. Except some exceptions. So we the younger generation have to make the good friendship and we do want to prove our old generation people and rest of the world that INDIA AND PAKISTAN are the good friends.
You had asked about the war and hate. First we should think why we are hating others. Just blindly don't say that my friend or family or my relations are hating. First get answer for this and your sorry and our problems will be solved................
THANK YOU FRIEND

I think that this i very admirable. In reality most of the world hate war and in an ideal world there wuld be none. But sadly this is not an ideal world. If you carry on as you are, many will see and respect you for that and I hope that in years to come it will be a trend, just love and peace only. What a wonderful ideal world it would be, all nations all religions loving each other as Brother and Sister

Hi brother... Well, I am an Indian muslim. And yes, I respect everyone. Indian Hindus... Pakistanis.. coz my religion teaches me to do so.. To Love your neighbour... make sure your neighbour does not go to sleep empty stomach... to share your meals with your neighbour... Imagine everyone following this simple rule... and thought this of the neighbour irrespective of religion, boundaries, caste... this world would be much much better... I am so glad the world has people like you (lovely words, btw).. Let us all, no matter how small our number, try to spread love and brotherhood... and make a positive difference around us.
Peace to all.

You are a true muslim.
Hindal wali Khwaja Gaarib Nawaz ke sadke me aapki har nek aur jaaiz murade puri ho...
This is heart felt prayer from a hindu from india...i very passioantly go to ajmer as Khwaja Garib Nawaz protects India irrespective of how many muslims or hindu live in India..
All real followers of Islam do their duty towards the land they dwell on.......and that always is with LOVE and not based on HATE..
Keep it asking such questions that promotes brotherhood and also strengthens real religiosity.
If given a choice, i would select such questions as the front page questions on this web site...

It's almost 60 yrs since independence for Pakistan and India. By now, except for the Kashmir border issue, most people in both nations are not too bothered about what the other side is up to.
Have you heard of how Indian and Pakistani soldiers reportedly play cards across the line of control? Or that, when one side goes hunting, they will toss part of their game to the other side for a BBQ?
The animosity has gone mostly cold for this generation, except for the poorer masses being influenced by mad demagogues or fanatics.
Revenge or war won't put food on the table, after all. In those cultures, most people are too swept up with taking care of their daily needs. It's mostly politicians who thrive on pointing fingers across the border, for their own or their cronies' survival.
By the way, India is by now too diverse to be regarded as a primarily Hindu nation. It's a melting pot by now.
Also:Most of the Hindu fanatic pockets are in the poorer northern Indian states where corrupt landlords and politicians rule with an iron hand.

I can agree with you. I do follow the Hindu/Muslim problems. But, to be united, it takes two or more sides of an issue to come together.
I can argue pros and cons on Iraq.............for either side. Alot of good it does anyone as to what I think.
I can understand both sides of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict---tho, I support Israel 100%.
I talk and ask questions---but, what I say or feel seems to do no good. Guess I am not very positive, am I?

you love your nation it shows your patriotism. I you were mature enough at the time of independence then you would had felt that what a partition is. As at that time the India was one and patriotism was for that county. today your respect shows that how much you are inclined towards communal harmony
