I know this sound crazy but my family uses mayo...I know yuck but I swear it has worked when I needed it too...Just put it on and let it sit...Rachel Ray's web site also had just talked about it as a crazy fix also she had a lady on that makes homemade hair products check it out.

You should get your ends cut. It's dead hair anyway. Do deep conditioning, that is, after shampooing, apply conditioner and leave on with a plastic cap, sit under a hair dryer for about 20 minutes, than rinse. I would suggest, Roux (by Revlon) Porosity control, shampoo and conditioner. Give it a try. By the way, I am a licensed cosmetologist.

I would recommend Pantene conditioners and shampoos for color treated hair. They work nice. Although you could try a 1/4 inch trim (or less if you think you could get away with it) because I always find that my hair grows crazy after a hair cut. Supposedly hair grows faster after a light trim because split (or fried I guess)ends impede hair growth.

The only way to make hair healthier and make it grow is to get the damaged ends cut off. After that get regular trims as well as keep hair conditioned. Coloring hair can damage it so just be careful when using hair color.

I HAVE THIS PROBLEM ALL THE TIME. HERE'S WHAT YOU DO. 1ST WHILE IN THE SHOWER RIGHT AFTER YOU RINSE OUT YOUR CONDITIONER FROM YOUR HAIR. THROW YOUR HAIR UP IN A TOWEL (THIS WILL ACT LIKE A MINI SPA TREATMENT ON YOUR HAIR) AND THEN FINISH YOUR SHOWER AS YOUR NORMALLY WOULD. 2ND NEVER I MEAN NEVER BLOW DRY YOUR HAIR WITH HOT HEAT. EITHER LET IT DRY OVER NIGHT WHILE YOU SLEEP THEN STRAIGHTEN IT IF NECESSARY. 3RD GO TO WALMART OR TARGET AND PURCHASE "CABELLINA CONDITIONER FOR MANE, TAIL, AND BODY" IT'S A WHITE BOTTEL WITH BLUE WRITING. THEY USE TO USE IT ON HORSES BUT FOUND THAT IT GOOD FOR HUMAN HAIR TOO. WASH YOUR HAIR AS USUAL WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE SHOWER APPLY THIS CONDITIONER AND APPLY IT LIBERALLY TO YOUR HAIR. PUT YOUR HAIR IN A BONN OR PONY TAIL AND LEAVE IT IN OVER NIGHT. IN THE MORNING RINSE AS USUAL APPLY JUST A LITTLE MORE AND THEN LET HAIR DRY AND STYLE AS USUAL. IF THIS DOES NOT WORK GO TO YOUR LOCAL HAIR SALON AND ASK FOR A CONDITIONING TREATMENT. IT COST BETWEEN 10-20 BUCKS AND IS SOOOOOO WORTH IT. HOPE THIS INFORMATION HELPS.

i would also do hot oil treatment , all you need to do is warm up some oilve oil and apply to hair than wrap hair up, keep on as long as you can like if you are i for the week end keep it on the whole time.just remember when you are going to wash it out put shampoo on before any water , makes it allot easier to get oil out.

might seem gross but mayonnaise is a good conditioner --to put it in and put plastic wrap over the hair and sit with it for like 20 minutes. . .

I'd say to go to a salon for advice for the conditioner. . .

or like vo5 hot oil?

best of luck
