If you are looking at doing a presentation on a disease/medical condition, do one on Celiac Disease. 1/133 people in America have it, only about 1/2000 are diagnosed. It's called the great pretender because it has such a wide variety or symptoms. It would make a great presentation. Check out websites like www.celiac.com for more information.

Wow, this is a broad topic. You can make a presentation on the use of the new vaccine used to treat HPV or human papilloma virus. You can do a presentation on treatments for diabetes and how diet and exercise control insulin. You can do a presentation on West Nile Virus and if there is a vaccine. Are there new treatments for breast cancer. What does soy have an effect on menopause. Hope this helps.

Hi there..
the topic seems to be very broad..what I feel is..since you also seem to be nervous, choose a topic on which you can go on and on and on..something like "common malignancies encountered" , or "Blood transfusion- benefits and adverse effects" or "Hepatitis B - more lethal than HIV ?" something like that..
It will attract all branches and also benefit them in a big way, be it consultants or trainees.. agree with me ??
best wishes...
