Well, it is said that there will be a second comming of Jesus, but if someone today started claiming he was the son of god, or the second comming of jesus, he'd be locked away as a lonitick. his 'miricals' would be oput down as simple magic tricks, tricks of the eye, of hoaks'. So, how would we know?

Oh, and please forgive my spelling. I'm a squirrel, what do you expect?

Spelling mistakes aside, you make a great point. Not only would society as a whole probably deny Jesus' divinity, but I'm fairly positive that the Christian majority would claim him to be the anti-Christ. It's been said that the anti-Christ would claim to be divine, and other such things which would also fit Jesus. I think his best bet would be to hold off on the miracles, and never reveal who he truly is. This way he (or she perhaps?) could have the most impact on society and the way we treat each other.

The second coming of Christ will be as God and Judge--no problem of confusion here.

Actually, there are prophecies about a man who, after becoming the head of a worldwide government, will claim to be Christ/Messiah. Hence his nickname of Antichrist. But faithful Christians, as well as faithful Jews (who are still waiting for the Messiah) won't be deceived.

You are forgetting some thing. Jesus is God and as the saying goes,"your arms are too short to box with God". When Christ returns everyone will know it and there will not be one person who will be able to stop Him. He is God of the universe, we are just puny man. I do not plan on standing up to God. People will have no choice in that day, free choice is over. Its going to be His way.

I am sorry to hear you have a lonitick, probably due to taking too many miricals to cure your hoaks. Brave of you to be comming oput about it.

How do we know? By revelation of course, how else?

And when He comes again, you will know, if you are still around.

Does it need to be spelt out for you?

According to President Bush and a host of Christian Leaders ( Dobson,
Haggard, Pat Robinson, etc, ad infinitum ) Christians can speak to Jesus.

So just ask. The "Good Book" says ye shall receive.

By the way, if you Christians make contact, ask when he is coming back. I would like him to resolve the abortion & Gay issues once & for
all.

When Jesus returns the second time, all will know! When Jesus returns , it will be in all his glory, on the clouds of heaven. Every eye shall see him. His return will be in an instant. As the lighting flashes so will the return of Jesus be. So be alert!

Jesus said in the New Testament, that many would come in His name and NOT to be decived.
There are definite signs of Christ's sure coming found in the Book of Revelation.

You would know IF ALL the criteria from the prophecy's in the bible were reached that related to his coming. Not just some, not just a reinterpretation from some organisation. But all of them clearly. And I think you would know anyway, because he is God.
