After reformating hard drive and reinstallling software I can no longer find the "favorites" menu.?

Right-click the Start button and select properties.
Choose the "Start Menu" tab and then make sure the radio button next to "Start Menu" is checked and click the Customize button.

Go to the advanced tab and scroll down through the start menu items panel.
Find the Favorites Menu item and make sure the box is checked next to it. Then click OK, then Apply.

That's a tough one... Try using an Undelete program or such... Get Data Back, Fast File Undelete or something... I do not guarantee this will work, but it's likely the only solution...
