I think any country in Western Europe is pretty safe and secure. I love America, but it's not the only good place to live in the world.

Not hardly!
You don't think America is unsafe until someone kills you. By then it's too late. US has one of the highest violent crime rates in the World.
With our meddling in the world at large for economic benefit, we have a large contingent of ugly mad people that would like nothing better than to douse America with gasoline and burn us to the ground.
I think Canada is far more benign, then there's Switzerland, Austria, New Zealand, Australia and many others really.
The USA is become "over". What goes up, must come down and unless our immigration tactics change, we will be history as a world great ...and we may well end up "toast" to boot!

Most People in the world love their country so to answer the first part of your question it would be quite normal for Americans to answer yes to the first part of your question. As for the second part.. giving the fact America has the highest crime and murder rate in the world..giving the fact that America have more people behind bars in the world and giving the fact that America has been fighting a self proclaimed war on terrorism..one can hardly call America the most secure country in the world !!!

No, I'd say the most insecure. External policy - it's making a lot of hidden enemies all over the world, terror threats, teracts. Plus USA's located betweet two oceans, this means tornados and even maybe tsunamis. But it's the best country anyways. I love it!

If this nation is so secure, why are we still letting thousands of unknown illegal immigrants sneak into the country everyday? We don't know who is sneaking over. For all we know, terrorists could have snuck in through the border.

Yes IT was America is beautiful, but you put trash in their white house and it becomes less safe. Went over invaded country and our troops are being slaughtered and the poor Iraq that has done nothing to us are dying each week by the hundreds because of a complete idiot.
